At later stage our Professor 'Late K.P. Mangalwedhekār' gave us a special permission to conduct classes for poor students in main building of 'S.P College'. 'Professor Mangalwedhekar' used to specially carve time to attend all our functions. Late 'Prof. H.S. Sane', 'Prof. Chandrashekhar Barve' and 'Prof. Modak' helped us too. We tried our best to groom these students. There were 1200 students who came to study with us. Some other people who helped us in this endeavor were 'Late Yadunāth Thatte' from 'Pune', Late 'Nāmdevrāo Māte', 'Mayor', Late 'Nilubhau Limaye', 'Shree Chandmal Katāria' and Late 'Nilubhau Limaye' used to donate books, notebooks and stationary. Editor of Newspaper ‘Sakal’ Late 'Shree G.Mungekar' used to help us in every possible way. While doing this Social, Educational and Cultural work, many of my friends helped me and I would like to mention their names – 'Jaysing Walgude', 'Arun Mutālik', 'Ashok Swāmi', 'Ashok Gore', 'Nakul Gore', 'Bhālchandrā Kadu', 'Bhāu Zodage', 'Suresh Kāmathe', 'Sandeep Naik', 'Mukund Godbole', 'Digambar Rāut', 'Shyām Sālunke', 'Muralidhār Deshpande', 'Shashikānt Gandhe', 'Suresh Kokil', 'Dr.Avinash Dole', 'Ashok Kolan', 'Shrotriya', 'Hanumant', 'Kamal Tapadia', 'Vavhal', 'Tai Prabhudesai', 'Suryavanshi' and 'Shirke'. This list is indeed unending. While doing this work I had adopted a philosophy which was “Work for the sake of work and not for name or fame”. Thus this period in my life was well spent in social services. We even cleaned the dirty and the marshy land in ‘Sārasbaug’ area, during this work my father dear ‘Annā’ used to get food for all of us. .We really worked hard.

Every "Vadya Ekādashi"( A particular Lunar Phase), I used to visit 'Alandi', take "Darshan" ( To go to a holy place and view the deity which is enshrined there ) of 'Shree Dnyāneshwar Mahārāj’s Samadhi' and then go to 'Sadhkāshram', where Late 'Rev. Yesutai Sākhare' would be waiting for me sitting on a wooden bench. After doing Pradakshinā to the ‘Audumber Tree’ (A kind of Ficus Tree) I used to go and sit in my friend Mr. Bhārat Gope’s room, over there along with like minded people we used to discuss topics related to spirituality. My friends 'Dnyāneshwar Surāse', 'Nivrutti', Bhagwān', 'Vishnu' used to sit with 'Shree Sākhare Maharaj' and listen to his sermons for some time and then return to Pune. I used to spend a lot of time with Late 'Yashwantrāo Limkar Guruji' in 'Alandi', later on when Guruji started ageing; I used to carry his bag for him. Initially he used to refuse to part with it but later would agree very reluctantly. He was so humble, that he did not want to trouble or tax others. Seldom are such great individuals born!
