One day around 7.00 am in the morning a young girl by the name of ‘Miss Deshpande’ visited us. She sat in front of ‘Shree Swāmi’s photograph and wept. On asking her the reason for crying she said that , for last 4 to 5 days she has been dreaming about ‘Shree Swāmi Samarth’ and in the dream she saw the same house as our, the same photograph of ‘Shree Swāmi’ and ‘Vibhūtī’ emerging out of the photograph and now she was witnessing the same thing in reality. A maid servant working in the bungalow next to her house told her about the ‘Vibhūtī’ miracle and told her that this was happening in 'Mangalwar Peth' area in ‘Pune’ and hence she was visiting us. She just knew the name of the road and did not have the exact address, but he people in that area guided her properly. It was amazing that what she had been dreaming for 4 to 5 days was ditto the same, witnessing in reality. Another woman of 80 years of age had a similar experience. Total five people saw this miracle in their dreams before it actually happened. Later they visited us to see stream of ‘Vibhūtī’ emerge from the photograph. On ‘Gurupurnima’ day (A full moon day; an auspicious day when 'Guru'/'Teacher' is worshipped) 5th July 2001 there was lunar eclipse. During that time the flow of ‘Vibhūtī’ from ‘Shree Swāmi’s photograph stopped completely. The eclipse got over at 9.45 pm and the flow of ‘Vibhūtī’ started again from the photograph. This also is a miracle, a phenomenon beyond human mind and understanding! From 15th July 2001 to 18th July 2001 for 18 days the ‘Vibhūtī’ was continuously flowing out of the photograph. During this period the devotees used to come early morning, bring with them fragrant flowers and made a canopy of flowers and decorate the ‘Shree Swāmi’s "Darbar" (Royal Court). Vivid flowers like Jasmine, lilies, roses etc were used for the purpose. ‘Nānā Randhir’ used to daily bring many flower garlands. Many ‘Shree Swāmi Samarth’s devotees brought beautiful different types of garland to decorate the shrine and plenty of "Naivaidya" (Food offerings). Though the "Naivaidya" bought was big in quantity, it used to get consumed by the large number of devotees visiting the place. Sometimes more than half of the drawing room (‘Shree Swāmi’s Darbar’) used to get filled with offerings. |
