STAVAN (THY PRAISE)

1) Has no birth, no name, no mother nor father
Mysteriously manifested, He indeed is the father of cosmos

2) He has no Guru, He Himself is the puppeteer
He is the ‘Aadinath of Navanathis’ and the savior of destitutes.

3) This ‘Narasimha’ appeared in a human form from a tree
To convert a non believer ‘Kashyapu’ into an ardent believer

4) He walks on the water and sometimes runs in the mid-air too.
“Yama’ the Lord of death fears Him, He is the renunciate and best
    amongst yogis.

5) Sometimes reaches Himalayas, sometime on mountains of ‘Aaravali’.
Sometimes dwells on banks of ‘Narmada’ and sometimes on banks of
    ‘Bhima’ too.

6) He does converse with Goddess ‘Kāli Mātā’ and also with ‘Kanyākumari’
Goddess ‘Annapoorna’ attends to Him. He is the one faced ‘Dattaguru’
    personified.

7) This ‘Chintāmani’ traveled and visited nook and corner of ‘Bhārat Desh’
The only wish of this ‘Janardana’ is to see all happy and content.

8) Ultimately went and established Himself at ‘Pradnyāpuri’,
shining resplendently like a Sun at noon,
With this praise ‘Ramanuja’ lovingly bows down at the feet of
    ‘Swāmi’ the great.
