For many years, many people have been working ceaselessly to make this occasion successful.  At this point I would like to make special mention of the following people ‘Vijay Tamhankar’, ‘Jaising Walgude’, ‘Arun Mutalik’, 'Vasant Surudkar’, ‘Pramod Nerlekar’, ‘Purushottam Kadam’, Nana alias ‘Gajanan Vaidya’, ‘Pandurang Erunkar’, ‘Sachin Khare’, ‘Kapil Khare’, ‘Shridar Gogawale’, ‘Sanjay Kadam’, ‘Raju Dhanawade’, ‘Dilip Kanatode’, ‘Bhausaheb Aambawane’, ‘Sau. Vidya Surudkar’, ‘Sau Ujjwala Tamhankar’, ‘Sau. Uma Hulawane’, ‘Sau. Sandhya Nerlekar’, ‘Sau. Madhura Khare’, ‘Sau. Chitra Roanekar’ ‘Dr. Jyotsna Ronghe’, ‘Lilatai Deshpande’, ‘Vasundhara Patwardhan’, ‘Miss Depali Tamhankar’, ‘Miss Pradnya Gogawale’ , ‘Miss Manasi Nerlekar’. All these people make a lot of effort and all of them wait eagerly for this occasion.

On one such "Punyatithi" programme, I got up early in the morning and quickly finished all my chores and went to the shop. As I was standing there, I saw a man approaching the shop.  He had tied a turban on his head.  I wanted to do some charity, hence I stepped forward toward him and suddenly the man shouted, "I am aware that you do ‘Shree Swāmi’s "Bhandara" (charity of food)."  For a moment I was stunned.  I wondered, as how he knew that I do ‘Shree Swāmi’s "Bhandara". In a split second, the man disappeared.  I was wonderstruck and I even forgot to pay my respects to him.

‘Shree Swāmi Samarth’ actually manifested in front of my daughter 'Chi. Kumari Pradnya'. Following is the description of how ‘Shree Swāmi’ appeared: He was wearing a red coloured flowing gown embroidered with golden thread. ‘Shree Swāmi’ had six arms and He was carrying following icons in each of His hands viz. "Chakra" (disc), "Gadā" (mace), "Trishul" (trident), "Kamandalu" (an earthen or wooden water pot used by ascetics), "Kamal" (lotus) and "Shankhā" (conch shell).  (All these icons are carried by Lord ‘Dattātreya’). Indeed ‘Pradnya’ is blessed and is extremely lucky!

What I am narrating happened in 1980. One of my father’s friend who was at a very high post in Corporation by the name of ‘Nanasaheb Aagashe’.  He was an engineer by profession and was the Trustee of ‘Shree Swāmi’s Math (Near Shreenath Talkies) belonging to ‘Mr. Shete’.
